Queen Anne Dining Furniture
Queen Anne Dining furniture is a type of style that dates back to older Victorian style dates. The style usually has rounded features and the style is very smooth or contoured. Queen Anne furniture comes in Queen Anne dining tables, chairs, and living room furniture as well. Queen Anne style of furniture came from the early 1700th century when travelers were looking for a lighter style of chair that was functional and yet still elegant.
The Queen Anne Dining table is a table that will add elegance to any room and is fine table. The pictured table looks great in Cherry, Oak, or Maple and really will catch anyone's eye in any room. This Queen Anne Dining Table can add up to four leaves to sit a large amount of guests. This table is self-storing allowing you to self-store below the Queen Anne top.
Why settle for less than solid hardwood Queen Anne dining furniture. We now are pleased to offer two-door and three-door Queen Anne Hutches that are built by the Amish in the midst of Amish country. These can be purchased in solid cherry, maple, oak, hickory, and quarter-sawn white oak. The Queen Anne Hutch goes beautifully with the rest of the Queen Anne dining furniture.

Purchasing an Oak Dining Tables
Purchasing an Oak Dining Table
Where to begin about Oak Dining Tables.. The first thing about selecting a dining room table is to determine if you like the Pedestal or Leg type. Neither choice is bad but can be a major preference when determining the type of furniture your about to purchase. Pedestal or Leg Dining Table?
Decisions, decisions...
So your first question is what is the difference between a pedestal or leg dining table. That is simple is one is in the shape of a pedestal and the other actually uses legs in the construction. Here are two examples of the difference between a pedestal and leg table.
As you can tell the pedestal table is usually round or tulip and the leg table has four legs but can have more with multiple leaves.
Pedestal Tables
A pedestal table is a table that is comprised of the top, top edge profile, pedestal, and feet. The top can usually come in Round, Queen Anne, Square, Rounded Corner, and Duchess. You can view different top options by looking at this oak dining pedestal page. So many options to choose from I know. The top edge profile can be of all different shapes ranging from standard round to square and you can checkout edge profiles below.
Finally, the pedestal and feet come in a variety of shapes and forms. The most popular Amish pedestal tables on the market are the standard pedestal and the tulip pedestal, however you can get many other designs for pedestals and sizes as well.

Mission Dining Furniture

Mission dining furniture is a very similar style to Shaker but usually has slat construction. Shaker is being known for more of a paneled look. The Mission dining room table for example is a table with a mission slat rail as shown to the right. The chairs features are deluxe mission slat chairs with premium genuine black leather seats. They are extremely comfortable because the padding is very plush and nice to sit in. I wish growing up that they would have used these dining room chairs for my family because dining meals would be a treat with these chairs. The pictured table and chairs is a solid oak dining room table and chairs that feature sturdy mission construction. These chairs and table actually cost more to ship because of the heavy weight and the amount of lumber used in the construction.
Mission dining room furniture was a style that was actually on it's way out then made a reappearance. I was reading an article about Gustav Stickley and his prominent furniture designs. He was the one of the original founders of the Stickley brothers that believed that furniture should not be made cheap and should be made with pride. The family also believed that the furniture is, "what you see is what you get." Which meant that the joinery was true and wasn't of poor construction. We offer the same style of mission dining furniture, chairs and such that have quality construction.
Amish Wolf Hollow Dining Chairs or Monterey Dining Chairs

The Amish Wolf Hollow Dining chairs are the next type of chairs that I would like to discuss. We have sold an unreasonably large amount of these chairs to California customers primarily because they have being coined the "Monterey Chairs." These chairs feature mission slat design and have scooped wood seats for extra comfortability. The prominent mission design chairs is sturdy and fits very nicely with the centennial Monterey table as well as the Wolf Hollow Table. These chairs in my mind are a top-selling collection because we have at least an order a month and a phone call or more every other week about the collection. The chairs pictures are Cherry with a 107 Ohio Certified Stain on it.
You don't have to be from California to respect the Monterey chairs but if you are from California the Monterey dining furniture is a growing trend..
